Grade 1 & 2 Basketball

The objective of this program is to develop young athletes through age-appropriate skill development while creating a passion for the sport. Most importantly, we want participants in this program to have a fun introduction to basketball

 

 

 

Cost: $195 for the season (fees could change before registration opens)

Registration Opens: August 1, 2024
Registration Closes: September 29, 2024
Program Start Date: November 9, 2024
Final Program Date: February 10, 2025
(There will be no Prctices during the Christmas break)

Schedule

Teams will have a weekly practice/game on Saturdays between 10:00 am - 3:00 pm - practice times will change from week to week. Practice facilities within each zone will remain the same for the entire season pending gym cancellations. East end players will practice on Sundays between 1:30 and 6:00 pm

Team Selection
Players should register in the Zone they currently live in - the RCBA uses their school information to create teams. If you have a player request, please email it to rcba@sasktel.net

Equipment
As a participant in the RCBA program, all players will receive the following:
- T-shirt
- Basketball

What is Needed for the Season:
- Non marking runners
- Athletic clothing
- Water bottle

 

 

Coaching

Coaches are always needed in the RCBA! If you are interested in coaching (no experience necessary) the RCBA will provide tools to assist new coaches.
